I really enjoyed this project because I like doing interviews. I also liked it because I like designing things like posters. A tip would be choose an occupation that you enjoy, for example I chose athletic trainer because I like sports, and I also like medicine kind of stuff like nurses.
I learned about groundwater collection and how it is there because of the run-off. I also learned that the sun is a key factor in the water cycle. I know i learned it because i can give a report about the topic. Being absent because i was sick got in the way some. The websites Mrs. C. put on the paper helped me. My mom, Zaya, and Kaylei helped me learn other than Mrs. C. We are learning about the water cycle. We are starting a new project in THINGLINK about the water cycle. We are reviewing all of the vocabulary such as
1. precipitation- rain, sleet, snow, hail 2. condensation the process in which the rain condenses in the clouds 3. evaporation- the process in which the sun heats water it turns to a gas and returns to the clouds. 4. transpiration- the process of which plants give off a vapor. 5. run-off- the process of which the rain runs off the mountain. REFLECTION: These are some of my favorite tools. They are all used to measure weather. I learned that a wind vane measures the direction of the wind. My partner was Cadance. The people who helped me learn about weather tools were Cadance and Mr. Moore.
We are doing a project where we have to record the temperature, humidity, clouds, wind, precipitation, and air pressure. We had to choose another place in the world and compare all of that information. I chose Rome, Italy to Hampton, Nebraska.
My Reflection: I learned a lot about the human body during this project. My teacher Mrs. Christenson and my partner Tyson helped me learn more about the circulatory system. In this project I learned that it takes 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown. Something I learned about MY system was there are 3 main parts of the circulatory system and they are Arteries, Veins, and the Heart
My Reflection: I learnd a lot in this experiment like why the raisin floats in the soda and not in the water. I predict the reason is there are carbohydrates in the soda, and water is pure. We think it was releasing air before it floated.
